Meet Lara Trinity
Anime On-Ramp was created by Lara Trinity, an anime fan who started watching at 12 years old with Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball Z. Those two very different starting points—magical-girl friendship and high-energy action—opened the door to everything anime could be.
Lara created this site to give today’s new viewers the kind of friendly starting point she would have loved: clear explanations, honest comparisons, and room to discover their own tastes.
Why this site exists
Anime recommendations often assume you already understand the language, genres, streaming services, and fan culture. We explain those things in plain language so beginners can make confident choices without gatekeeping or endless research.
What guides our recommendations
